CONNECTING THE RFT-DAM SYSTEM

The RFT-DAM is to be placed and wired in between the incoming cable service and the addressable cable tuner box. Your television is tuned to channel 2, 3 or 4; cable box and TV plugged into a standard 120 VAC outlet, transformer side of the power adapter plugged into a wall outlet and the plug side of the adapter plugged into the power jack on the RFT-DAM unit.

POWERING UP THE RFT-DAM SYSTEM

Simply turn on your TV and cable tuner box; the RFT-DAM test unit will automatically power-up and the power LED will light up...its that simple.

Multiple Converter Boxes

The RFT-DAM can be used to test multiple boxes. This is accomplished by connecting the RFT-DAM to the incoming cable line, before the initial splitter. All cable boxes connected after the RFT-DAM will be put on test mode. When using multiple splitters or when the cable signal is low, a 10 dB line amplifier may be necessary to maintain optimum picture quality.
